Out with the old, in with the NEW for 2018!

A New Year can prompt us to make changes we've been contemplating, but hesitant to act on.  I've been in the resale business for seven years now and learned so much.  I have constantly changed Baby Love's concept and offerings in order to evolve and offer products needed by local parents.

The reason I opened Baby Love in 2011 was because I have a deep-rooted passion for children, recycling, and saving money.  I wanted to offer our community a resource that it lacked; something I would appreciate as a new mother.  Baby Love was the most natural business for me to start because it was a combination of all my passions and talents.

Even after seven years I love going to work every day.  It is truly my dream job.  But one of the hardest lessons I've learned since opening is that it's very difficult to make a profit selling gently used children's items.  There is a lot of time, labor, and hard work involved to process pre-owned merchandise and make sure they meet the strict standards our customer appreciate.

I have finally come to terms with the fact that we have to stop offering to buy and sell gently used items.  As passionate as I am about offering this service to the community, as a single mother of two young children I have to begin to make a living off of this business or give it up.  I am not ready to give up.

Baby Love will continue to offer the best, most functional, eco-friendly products for parents and children on the market today.  We will expand our brand new merchandise to include more clothing, shoes, toys, and some equipment.  The online shop will continue to grow as we add more of the products we currently offer in the store, and future product lines as they arrive.  Our selection will be unique and your shopping experience is guaranteed to feel fun and adventurous.  Unlike our big box competitors, we will always guarantee top notch customer service and continue to go above and beyond with services like free gift wrapping and informative and fun classes and workshops.

We hope to continue to earn your business with our better than ever product mix.  We work hard to please our customers, and hope you will continue to shop small and support local.  Baby Love is one of the very few children's boutiques still open in Atlanta today (almost all of them have closed their doors over the past few years) but we need your support now more than ever if you want us to continue to be a resource for the community.

We look forward to seeing you soon, and thank you for shopping at Baby Love!

Lauren
